Rum Tasting Experience

Cane Rum Society is a Caribbean restaurant and bar in Hagastaden, Stockholm, with rum in the center. Here you can experience an exciting rum tasting experience that will take you on an initiated taste sensation around the world of sugarcane based beverage. The experience, led by a knowledgeable host, begins with an introduction to the history and production of rum and then continues with a tasting of a unique combination of rum varieties in the restaurant's impressive Rare Rum Library. In the Rum Library, owner Duane has collected rums from all over the world, ranging from well-known and popular brands to sought-after rarities. An inspiring and exciting and tasty experience awaits you, this experience is perfectly suited to do with friends or to give as a gift to that special someone. If you want a private room tasting, at least 10 people to book and it costs 795kr per person. Rum Dinner Experience

Experience a lovely Caribbean tasting trip at Cane Rum Society in Stockholm, a restaurant and bar that specializes in rum and has a “Rare Rum Library” full of unusual and unique rum varieties. Once you have settled down at your table in the warm and welcoming restaurant, choose two or three dishes with lovely Caribbean flavours from the menu. For dinner, a tasting tray with various selected rum varieties is served to complement the dishes and provide an overall experience of the Caribbean's scents and flavours. About Cane Rum Society

In Hagastaden in Stockholm hides a Caribbean gem specializing in Caribbean cuisine & rum -- this combined rum bar and restaurant (Cane Rum Society) is co owned by Duane Paul Shepherd. Rum has followed Duane through most of his life. Already at the very tender age of 16 he opened his first restaurant opposite a rum distillery in Trinidad. He later moved to London to “broaden his horizons,” and this is where he began working with different rum brands which helped him to broaden his knowledge and deepen his love for rum. Today he can sometimes be found hosting private events and rum tasting experiences at Cane Rum Society.
