RESTAURANT POLICY
This policy applies to all guests and customers who enter into any business arrangements with the Restaurant (Cane Rum Society AB). These business arrangements include and are not limited to lunch or dinner reservations, dine in or take away, catering, rum tasting, rum club or any other services offered by the Restaurant.
POLICIES BOOKINGS
The Restaurant only accepts bookings through a phone call, email, or online booking. If clients wish to arrange a transaction personally, they must notify the Restaurant at least (5) business days before the intended date so that the Restaurant can plan accordingly.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are only applicable for catering, party packages, dine-in services, rum tasting & rum club events. Clients can make a reservation through a phone call, e-mail, or online booking. Reservations can be made up to 3 months prior to the intended date and 24 hours before the desired time.
PAYMENT MENTHOD
All rum tasting & rum club events must be paid for in full prior to the event date to the restaurant in full using our online booking system. We do not accept cash payments, we take all major credit cards, and all dine in service bills must be settled in full on the day unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed between the client and the Restaurant.
RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling of services must be made three (3) days before the new date. The restaurant will only allow the reschedule of services once for free. If the client postpones the services again, the Restaurant will charge (500kr) as a rescheduling fee.
NO-SHOW
If the client is a NO SHOW, the Restaurant will automatically cancel the booking or reservation. Also, the Restaurant will keep the initial payment and any other payment from the client for good.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
The Restaurant will accommodate a variety of dietary requirements with advance notice. Customers must ensure that all dietary requirements are included in their booking. If the dietary requirements are restrictive, please contact the Restaurant to discuss it.
BEVERAGE
The Restaurant will charge the client's beverages upon consumption and strictly no BYO.
CAKEAGE
The restaurant will charge the client 65kr per slice for cake should the customer request to BYO to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion.
LUNCH & DINNER
Lunch reservations begin at 11:00am until 14:00pm, and dinner reservations begin at 17:00pm until 21:00pm. You will have your table booking for 2 hours however if you require a longer seating time you must contact the restaurant manager.
LARGE GROUP BOOKINGS
We do offer larger group bookings of more than 8 people...you will be offered a large group menu (reduced a la carte menu) from which you will have to pre order your meal choices to avoid delay on the day. Your meal choices must be sent in to us 4 days prior to your table booking.
STAFF SERVICE CHARGE
A 10% staff service charge will be added to the final bill for all group booking of 8 people or more. You will be given one bill so if you wish to share the bill we recommend that you swish money to the person who will be paying the final bill in full including the staff service charge.
HEALTH PROTOCOLS
Because of the current health crisis, customers and guests must comply with the proper health protocols inside the Restaurant’s premises if they wish to personally arrange booking and reservations. Social distancing must also be observed and no more that 8 guests to a table.
